There are so many options on where to print your wedding invitations, with a lot of questions and considerations like how to print them, or probably more specifically... how much will it cost to print them. As a wedding stationery designer and printer, I have a lot to say on the subject!
Where to print your wedding invitations professionally
Wedding Stationery and Print Studios
Some stationery shops (like us!) offer both the design and printing of wedding invitations, combining the best of both worlds. As you'll likely be purchasing the design, while working with the stationer through from designing to printing, expect the final cost to be a little higher!

Online Wedding Invitation Printers
Online printing services like Minted, Vistaprint, and Zazzle offer easy-to-use templates that can be customized to fit your wedding. With the option to browse thousands of designs, this is a great choice for many couples. They are affordable with a variety of designs.
If affordability is your main priority, these retailers are an amazing option. However for something that feels handcrafted, I would take a more personal route where you can work and speak with the designer and/or printer directly!
Speciality Printers
Luxury printers offer the best papers, the best printing, and the best attention to detail. Expect a slightly longer turnaround time, but it's worth it to work with people who put so much care into what they create.
Specialty printers are our first recommendation to anyone who has a design they'd like printed! Here's a few of our favorites:
Paper Meets Press, Philadelphia

Crayton Hertitage, South Carolina

Public Print, Kansas City

Designed your own wedding invitations?
Now, you might have chosen to design your own wedding invitations, and that is great! And why should it mean you can't print using letterpress, or foil? It doesn't! But there is a lot of work that goes into printing luxury wedding invitations, which usually comes with years of experience as a graphic designer or wedding stationer.
I've created a 32-page guide, suitable for couples, DIY enthusiasts, and wedding stationers to learn all of our secrets on where we get our wedding invitations printed, and how.
What will the guide help me with?
-
Where to get your wedding invitations printed, which includes our favorite printer for letterpress wedding invitations, and a 10% discount to use their services.
-
Where to spend money on your wedding invitation printing, and where you can save (such as where you can print your envelopes for much, much cheaper!)
-
Our favorite colored papers
-
How to send your wedding invitations to the printer
-
A letterpress color swatch library for our favorite colored papers!
-
PLUS a library of our most loved wedding invitations, and details on exactly what papers and printing was used on each one.
We also go through any printer terminology and jargon to help you understand exactly what you're asking for when you speak with a printer.
Printing wedding invitations with letterpress and foil
It's no secret that I love wedding invitations printed with letterpress and foil. After all, it's my entire business. Your wedding invitations are the first glimpse into your wedding day, so you should make them special! This guide will teach you the difference between letterpress and foil printing, along with what types of invitation suits each printing method, and how to print using letterpress or foil (on colored paper, too!).
