About Anna Jaques
Nicety Studio was founded in 2017 by graphic designer and art director Anna Jaques. Anna grew up surrounded by graphic designers and developed an early love of typography, paper, and beautiful printed things.
She went on to study Graphic Design at university, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree before beginning her career working with luxury retail brands. During this time she developed a deep appreciation for tactile design, particularly printed materials produced on beautiful papers using traditional print techniques.
Over time it became clear that print design was what truly inspired her. Anna launched Nicety Studio to focus fully on creating refined, joyful wedding stationery that celebrates color, texture, and craftsmanship.
Today Anna designs and prints from her home studio using her Vandercook SP15, Heidelberg, and foil press, producing invitations that feel as special in the hand as they look on the page.
Pairing her love of vibrant palettes with a refined design sensibility, Anna has developed a distinctly fresh aesthetic that continues to evolve while attracting couples from around the world.
Our Story
Nicety Studio is a custom wedding invitation design and printing studio. We focus on creating modern and colorful foil and letterpress wedding invitations.
Nicety Studio began in started in 2017, having designed a small line of modern customizable wedding invitations on our foil press. Since then, we've grown our studio to what it is today, making invitations fun, bold, colorful, and full of life while using with a huge range of traditional printing methods from foil printing to letterpress. We live to obsess over every single detail of each project from ideation to print, ensuring each piece of stationery is produced to perfection.
