We typically begin booking custom projects 6-12 months before your wedding. At this stage, there's no need to have every detail figured out. The most successful projects begin with a shared appreciation for thoughtful design, beautiful print, and a willingness to trust the creative process.

Your proposal includes everything needed for a complete invitation mailing, with opportunities to explore additional embellishments, specialty printing, and custom details as the design develops.

Every project begins with a conversation. We'll talk through your wedding, your personal style, the atmosphere you're creating, and the experience you want your guests to have from the moment they open the envelope.

This stage helps shape the creative direction of the suite while introducing possibilities for print techniques, materials, finishes, and other details that may become part of the final design.

Using everything gathered during discovery, I develop the creative direction for your suite. This includes typography, color palette, print methods, materials, artwork concepts, and overall composition.

We'll also begin exploring the special details that make a custom suite feel truly personal, from custom illustrations and unique formats to folios, wax seals, and other finishing touches.

With the creative direction established, I begin designing your invitation suite. Through a series of proofs and refinements, every element is thoughtfully considered, from typography and layout to print production and assembly.

Once the overall direction has been approved, we'll fine-tune wording and details through a small number of revision rounds to ensure everything feels polished and complete before production.

Once approved, your suite moves into production. Invitations are printed, foiled, pressed, finished, addressed, and assembled with care in my studio.
